Our New Educational Initiative |
Welcome to DISHA - a forward-focused, coeducational, international, day / residential school with a holistic approach, offering the ICSE curriculum. With 18 years of service in the field of education, we, at P.K.D. Trust, feel immense pleasure in offering to society our new educational initiative-DISHA, where children can realize their true potential and long-term dreams.
DISHA - A Life School is located in the beautiful and green environment of pollachi. It is 40kms southwest of Coimbatore and the first academic year starts from June 2011.
As times change in the present globalized world, so do the challenges and opportunities that have to be faced by our younger generation of students. Children, today, live in times of conflicting interests - between the pressures of preparing for the world ahead and their yearning for the simple joys of childhood; between the expectations of their parents and their own interests and dreams; between the challenges they need to face due to globalization and their beliefs in
traditional Indian values and ethics.
At DISHA, we have kept all these factors in mind while creating every aspect that forms the genesis of this new school with a mission to accomplish. We intend to provide a broad-based holistic educational programme with the right balance of academic, sports, fine arts, spiritual, moral, recreational, and life skills activities. To meet this intention, we have made serious efforts to bring together a team of highly skilled, enthusiastic staff, providing them with the best of available instructional resources.
We hope our infrastructure and facilities with plenty of wide, green open spaces will equally encourage every DISHA student to learn, enjoy friendships, and celebrate each other’s individual and collective achievements. It is our ultimate goal that DISHA students will advance into this world as positive contributors, prepared to realize their full potential and achieve their chosen goals and dreams.
